I need to clear some field's value depending on its disabled attribute.
I tried using <p:ajax update="text1" resetValues="true" />
with no success.
My code is like the following:
<p:selectOneMenu id="mySelect" value="#myBean.mySelect">
<f:selectItems value="#myBean.myList" />
<p:ajax update="myText" resetValues="true" />
</p:selectOneMenu>
<p:inputText id="myText" value="#myBean.myText"
resetValue=""
disabled="#myBean.mySelect lt 1" />
I've also tried with update
instead of render
, but it still doesn't work.
So, when I change the mySelect
, myText
is correctly disabled but its value isn't cleared.
I know I could reset its value in a new method in the backing bean, but I'd like to manage this simply behaviour directly in the xhtml code.
Any idea?
Thanks
