I am working on application based on Kotlin and Ktor. I am using JOOQ for connection to database and connection properties are saved in object, eq:
//TODO: Fetch from file
internal object Database
private const val url = "jdbc:h2:tcp://url/name"
private const val username = "sa"
private const val password = ""
val connection = DSL.using(
url,
username,
password
)!!
This is completely nonsense so I would like to put this properties to *.properties file or *.yml and create this object by fetch this data.
How can I do it easily?
In Spring it's really easy by using @Value but here I have no idea.

Basically you need to figure out how to read from eitherproperties
oryaml
and then just pass the data to your config.
