I'm packing different files in a dataset. And I'm using a paper as reference. It defines a variable, I think so, as 'pieces = []'. However, iit tells me that is a syntax error.
Here is the code:
import os
import pandas as pd
os.chdir('/home/marlon/ShiftOne/Previsao_insumos_construcao/dados_de_sao_paulo/insumos infraestrutura/teste/')
datas = range(pd.DataFrame('year': [2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011,
2012, 2013, 2014,2015, 2016, 2017, 2018],
'month': [1, 5, 7, 9])
pedaços = []
columns = ['DESCRIÇÃO', 'VALOR']
for date in datas:
path = 'Custos_.xls'.format(date)
columns = ['DESCRIÇÃO', 'VALOR']
for data in datas:
path = 'Custos_.xls'.format(date)
df = pd.read_excel(path, names = columns)
pedaços.append(df)
todos_os_dados = pd.concat(pedaços, ignore_index = True)

That one is a bit confusing and I think you are missing a paranthesis at the end.
