I do need to make external calls to http://www.example.com/folder1/folder2/file.xml
directly accessible on the port 80 and not 443 (https)
the files are stored in the wordpress main root (not wp-content/uploads) so they are external.
In my .htaccess there is no mention to redirecting all the pages to https, that's because (i guess) the website is configured to be https itself, without any redirect.

as you can see, this htaccess include Wordfence's rules and a redirect rule for the login page (secreturl is censored by me)
If i make a browser call to http://www.example.com/folder1/folder2/file.xml into the browser url, it remains http, so i guess it's already correct, but a company accessing the url with some kind of data collector application, is telling me that the file is under https.
Am I wrong or what?
Thanx
