With the Google Maps API, it is possible to use MarkerOptions.flat(true) to get a marker to snap to the map and rotate with the map when it's dragged/rotated.
I can't seem to get that working with a MapKit custom image annotation. The only solutions I've found include using CGAffineTransform to rotate the UIImage, but this doesn't actually rotate the UIImage while the map is being rotated.
I've thought of rotating the annotation when the map region changes, but this seems really inefficient and there is most certainly a better way to do this.
