I am developing an application which requires getting all running applications or detecting the newly launched or closed applications.
I have looked everywhere and it seems that in the newest Android versions the following is not working:
ActivityManager am = (ActivityManager)getSystemService(Context.ACTIVITY_SERVICE);
List<ActivityManager.RunningAppProcessInfo> runningAppProcessInfo = am.getRunningAppProcesses();
Is there a way to achieve this using broadcast receivers or intent handlers?
Thanks
