I want to implement deep linking in my react native app that uses react-navigation v3. I've already done all the steps from react-navigation's tutorial and it seems to work fine. However, I need to access the navigation state from the navigator's parent component.
Without deep linking I know what the initial active route and then can simply use the onNavigationStateChange
to call a function that alters the parent state when the tab changes.
With deep linking what happens is the initial tab comes from the url passed to the app an the method onNavigationStateChange
is not called. So the parent component doesn't know what's the active route.
Is their any built-in method that I can get the initial state of a Tab Navigator or must I implement it myself?
