Problem:
I'm trying to create a GUI for my game, and one of my methods is render()
that does not work properly. I have a JButton
and I want to render it above a red rectangle that I made with my g
object:
If I render a component with the paintComponents(g)
, the rectangle won't show up. If I use the method after rendering the rectangle, the components stays behind the rect, and that's something I don't want. I want to have the button above the rect without making it disappear.
Can someone help me?
Script:
`public void render()
BufferStrategy bs = getBufferStrategy();
if (bs == null)
createBufferStrategy(3);
return;
Graphics g = bs.getDrawGraphics();
g.fillRect(0, 0, 200, 200);
paintComponents(g);
g.dispose();
bs.show();
`
