I'm quite a fan of the %%magic
functions of jupyter. I'm also quite a fan of adding a comment to the top of a cell to explain its purpose.
However the following combination does not work:
#Some comment
%%time
import numpy as np
_ = [np.random.random((10,10)) for _ in range(100)]
Is there any way in which you can skip the comment and still activate the cell magic? It is especially relevant when you use magics like %%sql
, which otherwise require a different comment format.
%%sql
SELECT * FROM table
python jupyter-notebook
