I am working on an App where i need Autostart/Battery Optimization to keep my service running even if the app is killed from the task manager.
I am able to do that perfectly on API versions more than or equal to 23, but below that, i am not able to do that.
Can anyone guide me what i can do on API versions less than 22 to keep my service running always in the background.
The current code which i am using is:
if (Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= 23)
Intent intent = new Intent();
intent.setAction(Settings.ACTION_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATION_SETTINGS);
startActivity(intent);
Any help would be highly appreciated.
